With the firm purpose of empowering greater spaces for adolescent and youth participation, United Peruvian Youth (UPY) announces the new agreement signed with Global Young Leaders, an organization established in 2019, located internationally with centers in Europe, North America, Africa, and South Asia that works with independent youth groups, schools, universities and organizations internationally to motivate them to create life by their own design through the development of the tools they need to address the important challenges and decisions of their lives. Its peer-to-peer programs focus on key topics such as decision-making, wellness, mindset, soft skills development and real-world challenges.
By signing this agreement, both organizations commit to:
Share campaigns, webinars projects and co-organized events.
Provide Soft Skills Workshops for the various programs and courses offered for volunteer members at UPY.
Connecting the Global Young Leaders network community with United Peruvian Youth members through participation in specific events.
Undoubtedly, a new alliance that United Peruvian Youth welcomes with great joy and conviction that this is the beginning of a great and long teamwork for the benefit of more Peruvian men and women.
UPY is a youth organization formed by young people whose mission is to empower young Peruvians to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established by the United Nations in 2015, especially the achievement of SDG 4: quality education. For this, UPY is composed of 3 thematic areas: prosperity, people & peace and planet and is divided into 3 programs: UPY Aprende, UPY Comparte and UPY Impacta.
