About the event
Course Description: This course is of a theoretical-practical nature, it provides the student with the communication skills that allow them to speak, write and understand the most widely spoken native language of Peru.
Course Objectives:
General:
- Grant the student basic knowledge of Quechua in order to communicate and function in the cultural, social, and professional environment in Quechua-speaking areas.
Specifics:
- Recognize the grammatical structure of the Quechua language and the corresponding vocabulary.
- Begin to use Quechua to experience everyday communicative situations and written texts.
Methodology
In these classes, different strategies are used, such as role-playing, learning a song, in order to bring students closer to the daily activities of the communities and to be able to function in them using a basic vocabulary in communicative situations. The sessions will also be addressed according to the progress of the study group.
At the end, contact will be made with a Quechua speaker to practice previous knowledge.
